Rudi Lang Partner, Member of the Group Executive Board

Rudi Lang was the Global Financial Services Sector Leader with 27 years of experience in the firm, including his previous stint in Germany and the UK. He has been a member of Forvis Mazars Group Executive Board from 2016-2024 before taking on the new role in APAC. Rudi brings extensive financial services expertise, having worked with some of our largest clients as well as European regulators and public authorities.

With his vast experience, Rudi has led complex, cross border audit and regulatory projects, large scale projects around European restructuring, and special risk management assignments for international banking clients. He has been engaged in Prudential Capital Assessment Reviews and Asset Quality Reviews for several European banks and has acted as a skilled person for regulators in the UK and across Europe. Rudi also has extensive experience acting as Monitoring Trustee in prominent state aid and merger control cases.

Rudi is a German Certified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow member of the ICAEW and recently he has been admitted as a member of the Chartered Accountants of Singapore. He holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Finance Theory from the University of Cologne. Fluent in English, German and French, Rudi regularly speaks at internal and external seminars and conferences on regulatory and industry matters worldwide.
