Steven Brice, has been appointed member of the IFRS for SME Implementation Group.

Steven Brice has been selected as a member of a working group of the IASB(International Accounting Standards Board) composed of 21 members in charge of supporting Small and Medium-sized Entities (SMEs) in the implementation of IFRS(International Financial Reporting Standards).

The mission of the Group, mandated for two years, is to support the international adoption of IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Entities and to monitor its implementation.

To do this, the Group has two main responsibilities:

To develop non-mandatory guidance for implementing the IFRS for SMEs in the form of questions and answers;
To make recommendations to the IASB in order to assist SMEs to implement these standards as seamlessly as possible.
