Mazars participates in the Women’s Forum and presents the book “A women’s world, a better world?”

For this 2011 edition, Mazars has chosen to imagine a scenario in which women and men share power. Mazars presents the book “A women’s world, a better world?” by Muriel de Saint Sauveur which brings together the suggestions of 100 women living in 33 different countries.

4 of these women will speak at the Mazars stand at the Women’s Forum:

• Soukaina Bouraoui, Tunisian lawyer and director of CAWTAR (Centre for research, studies, documents and information about women) will talk about “The role of women in the new government in Tunisia”
• Brigitte Grésy, Vice President, Commission for women’s image in the media, Ministry for Employment and Solidarity of France: “Deconstruction of stereotypes”
• Loula Zaklama, President and Founder of Rada Research and Public Relations: “The role of women in Egypt; the revolution and after?”
• Noriko Carpentier, Director of the Franco-Japonese Exchange Commitee: “The Japanese woman today”

There will be two Mazars debates during the Women’s Forum:

• “Is happiness gendered?” which will be led by Emmanuelle Gagliardi, Director of the business magazine L/ONTOP and Alexandre Jost, founder of La Fabrique Spinoza (think-tank)
• “A women’s world, a better world? Gender equality and performance”featuring:
  • Philippe Castagnac, Co-CEO of the Mazars Group;
  • Aruna Jayanthi, CEO of Capgemini India;
  • Michael Ladet, Sociologist and Vice-President of Sociovision.

 This year, Philippe Castagnac is a member of the CEO Champions Club which reconvenes on Thursday 13^th October at Deauville. In 2010, the founding group made 6 commitments for progress and responsibility within the private sector with regard to the role of women in business. This year, each member will present on the actions and progress that they have made within their own company.
