Denise K. Fletcher, independent member of Mazars’ Supervisory Board since December 2011, is an operating and finance executive who has been a leader at public and private global companies.

She was recently honoured with membership in the Council on Foreign Relations along with influential and renowned personalities including business leaders (i.e.: Frederick W. Smith, CEO and founder of FedEx), current or former politicians and government advisors (i.e.: Colin Powell, Harold Ford Jr.), journalists (i.e.: Nicholas Kristof, Charlie Rose, Erin Burnett), lawyers (i.e.: Kenneth Roth), academics (i.e.: Mahnaz Ispahani), non-profit professionals and celebrities involved in humanitarian causes (i.e.: Angelina Jolie, George Clooney).

Founded in 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an independent, nonpartisan membership organization, think tank and publisher dedicated to being “a resource for its members, government officials, business executives and other citizens in order to help them better understand the world and foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries” (as stated in the CFR website: www.cfr.org).

As a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Denise K. Fletcher has now in-person access to world leaders and to a wide array of publications and resources, can participate to around one thousand nonpartisan forums organized each year and has lots of opportunities to discuss foreign policy thanks to study and advisory groups.

Throughout her career, Denise K. Fletcher has helped define and implement the management and development strategies of companies such as Vulcan Inc., Paul Allen's investment company (Executive Vice President), MasterCard, Da Vita and Bowne (Chief Financial Officer), The New York Times Company (Corporate Treasurer) and Getty Oil Co (Financial Planning/Cash management/ Treasury). Since 2001, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of Unisys and of its Audit Committee. She is also a member of its Nominating and Governance Committee. Previously she served on the Boards of Directors of Sempra Energy, Orbitz, Software Etc. Stores and The Hospital Group (UK). She chaired the Audit Committee of Orbitz and was a member of Software Etc. Stores' Audit Committee, and of the Governance and Technologie Committees of Sempra Energy.
