Mazars´ response to COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Mazars’ objective is to guarantee the health of our professionals, not to put our stakeholders’ health at risk, and to continue offering exactly the same service to our clients.

The new measures approved in the special meeting of the Council of Ministers, held on Sunday 29th March, restricts all labour activity that is non-essential.

The RDL 10/2020, published in the Official State Gazette on Sunday 29th March 2020, includes those activities which are considered essential, among which are legal offices and consultancies. Therefore, Mazars will continue to provide their services to their clients, just as, in fact, they have been doing for the last few weeks through teleworking.

Although attention by telephone is maintained from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through our habitual telephone numbersthe Firm recommends those persons and companies that wish to contact a professional to try, if possible, to do it directly to a mobile phone, email or through Microsoft Teams or other similar tools.

Following the official declaration of the state of emergency, the professionals within Mazars will be teleworking in the following weeks, something that most of them have been doing for the last few days.

During this period, the timetable of our offices will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and only the essential professionals will work from the office. The firm recommends those persons and companies that wish to contact a professional do so, as far as possible, directly through their cell phone, email or through Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.

Mazars has the means and plans necessary to continue providing their services to their clients with the same quality and excellence as ever. In fact, teleworking is a measure that the firm already adopted some time ago and was already habitual among their professionals.

Last February, Mazars launched their contingency plan and took the first precautions, with all of their professionals being informed.
