Jose joined Forvis Mazars in 2020 and has more than 27 years of professional experience in statutory audit and external audit, specialising in the review and evaluation of financial statements, analysis and application of IFRS standards. He has experience in Sarbanes - Oxley compliance issues for major companies in the industrial sector and is part of the IFRS Colombia team.
In his professional career he has participated in projects for important national and international clients in the brewing, industrial, retail and public services sectors. He has been a professor of financial assurance in accounting courses at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Instituto Nacional de Contadores (INCP), Universidad del Norte, CESA (Colegio de Estudios superiores de Administración), Universidad ICESI, Universidad de los Andes and lecturer in numerous national and global companies.
