Ivan Shapiro Partner | Head of Assurance and Advisory

Ivan is the Head of the Assurance and Advisory teams and is involved in M&A, External Audit, Due Diligence, post integration reviews & litigation support. He assists with deal sourcing among Israeli start-ups and has worked across all continents, with expertise in US, Asian (China, Singapore, Japan), and European markets.

Previously he was a partner in audit and corporate finance at a global accounting firm in Australia managing a team of 30 staff, and more recently CFO of a global multi-national where he managed their M&A activity globally. Ivan has 20 years experience in audit and M&A transactions, and has been involved in numerous due diligence projects in Israel & overseas, with a strong specialisation in the Hi-tech sector.

His M&A work included financial due diligence projects involving cross border activities within the Hi-tech sector, as well as numerous listings on Nasdaq, Australian, and other International Stock Exchanges. He has also been involved in public and private sector audits across regions and industries.

Ivan is a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa, Australia and Israel. Ivan has an in-depth knowledge of the needs of multi-nationals doing business globally, supporting them in their Israeli endeavors, and consults to a number of Hi-tech Groups, including Fortune 500 companies.
