Francis Joseph Partner, Audit

Francis holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Tasmania and is a member of CPA Australia. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

He started his professional career with a medium-sized accounting firm (1987-1990) before joining Hew & Tan as Audit Senior. He was promoted through the ranks and was appointed Senior Manager in 2006 and Director - Audit in 2008.

With more than twenty years of experience in auditing, Francis has covered a wide spectrum of industries and business operations including manufacturing, construction, property development, plantation, stock broking, finance, insurance, advertising, food and beverage, telecommunication, trading and investment holding.

His areas of specialization are in audit, due diligence services, share valuation, business investigations and risk management services. He has headed diligence services assignments covering property development, insurance, IT, trading and manufacturing businesses.
