Adiebah Moruck

Adiebah joined Forvis Mazars Cape Town on 1 March 2010 as an Audit Trainee. During this time her clients included large groups in retail, manufacturing and property management, as well as a number of smaller owner-managed businesses.

Adiebah joined the Quality & Risk Management Department (QRM) with a focus on audit technical support, as well as implementing internal risk management processes and controls. She has been involved in developing training material and facilitating courses nationally to all seven offices within South Africa, as well as various African countries.

She currently leads the Audit Technical pillar within QRM and works closely with the audit departments nationally to provide technical support and monitor their compliance with the Forvis Mazars Audit Methodology and local regulations. In addition, she consults with the audit teams for many of the listed clients with regards to Key Audit Matters disclosed in their audit reports, both locally, as well as within Africa.

She is responsible for ensuring that the quality of the audit software is maintained and for the development of audit tools to ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing.

Adiebah has been part of a team performing operational due diligence procedures for international firms for integration into Forvis Mazars Group. She is also a member of the MAM team at a Forvis Mazars Group level, reviewing and providing input for the Forvis Mazars Audit Manual.

Adiebah is the Regional Quality Control Leader for the English-speaking African countries. In this role, she provides operational support to the Global QM&C leadership and Global QM&C Board. She acts as a conduit between the countries within the region and the Global QM&C team.

She holds a BCom degree from the University of Cape Town, majoring in Financial Accounting, has a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences and Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science from UNISA.
